Synopsis: No, it’s not a film version of Walt Whitman’s famous work. Edward Norton plays a dual role in this comedy about an Ivy League professor whose ne’er-do-well twin brother lures him back to their Oklahoma home town to enlist him in a hare-brained scheme aimed at a local drug lord. The film has a fine supporting cast, including veteran character actor Tim Blake Nelson, who also wrote and directed the film. The film premiered at the 2009 Toronto Film Festival, where critic Roger Ebert pronounced it his favorite film of the festival.
